Welcome to the Sweeny ISD Chlld Nutrition Department! We take pride in preparing students for the day each morning with breakfast and keeping them fueled for learning with a nutritious lunch. We believe that our job is more than just serving meals, it's about supporting each child and the community as a whole.
Breakfast and Lunch Menus
Sweeny ISD Child Nutrition Announcement:
For the 2025-2026 school year, Sweeny Elementary will continue to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)-which means every student at our elementary campus will receive FREE breakfast and lunch every day, no application required! That’s right — no forms, no income documentation, just nutritious meals served daily to support our kids’ health and learning. Secondary students may still be eligible for free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program based on household income, participation in programs.
Beginning September 1, 2025, all reduced-price student meals—both breakfast and lunch—will be provided free of charge across our Secondary Campuses. This update is made possible through funding from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA), which is committed to ensuring all students have access to nutritious meals that support their health and academic success.

School Café allows parents and families to apply for free/reduced meals, add funds to their students' account, and view up-to-
date menus. You will need your students' ID number to create a account. This fall, 'Back 2 School' will also mean 'Back to Student Meal Rates' for nutritious school meals. Click the green School Café button to apply online for Free and Reduced Meal Prices.
