Gifted and Talented Referral
Sweeny ISD is beginning the referral process for Gifted/Talented (G/T) services for the 2023-2024 school year. We are committed to providing challenging learning experiences for students with exceptional intellectual and creative thinking abilities. Referral forms are available online under Gifted and Talented on the district website for parents in English and Spanish. The teacher referral form is available online under Gifted and Talented on the district website.
Anyone wishing to refer a student attending Sweeny ISD in kindergarten through 12th grade may go online and complete the referral form by December 15, 2023. Those unable to complete the form online should call 979-491-8021 and request a form to be sent to them.
Sweeny ISD está comenzando el proceso de referencia para servicios para Dotados/Talentosos (G/T) para el año escolar 2023-2024. Estamos comprometidos a brindar experiencias de aprendizaje desafiantes para estudiantes con habilidades intelectuales y de pensamiento creativo excepcionales. Early Childhood Screenings
Sweeny ISD Special Education Department will hold screenings for children with suspected disabilities between the ages of 3-5 on predetermined dates throughout the school year.
