Candidate Eligibility Requirements
The Board of Trustees is comprised of seven positions. The seven trustees serve staggered three-year terms. All SISD residents who meet eligibility requirements specified in Board Policy (BBALEGAL) may run for a position in the Board of Trustee election. Two board positions will be up for election in May 2025.
The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
Candidate Application and Candidate Information Packets will be available for pick up January 15, 2025 - February 14, 2025.

The District will accept applications on regular business days from January 15, 2025, to February 15, 2024, between 7:30 am – 4:00 pm and February 14, 2025, between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
